What Should I Expect When I Visit the Church?

You will receive a warm welcome, there is always someone on the door to meet and greet you, to answer any questions and to direct you on where to go. Our main service on a Sunday morning (10:45 a.m.) usually includes a mix of traditional and more contemporary songs, accompanied by the piano, drums and sometimes guitar, & flute. There is always a time for prayer and a reading or two from the Bible and a message delivered by our visiting preachers or preachers within our own congregation. There is always an opportunity to respond to the message and engage in further discussion at the end of the service.

Tea & coffee are served at the end of the service and we would love to meet and get to know you.

What Happens to the Children at Church?

We have a great team of Sunday School teachers which enables us to provide a fantastic programme for the children. The children stay with their parents/carers at the start of the service, during the worship songs, and there is usually a special message delivered just for the children. The Sunday School teachers will then lead the children out to their various classes, which are held in the back room or the front room of the church building.

For further information about our children’s programme of services and events, please see Children’s Work.

Is there a Dress Code?

The simple answer is no! Please feel free to be yourself and come dressed in your ‘normal’ clothes.

Will I Have to Join In?

Not at all! Please fell free to simply observe or participate as much as feels comfortable for you.
